Very effective in reducing muzzle rise and recoil. Especially when you add a HXWRX suppressor.

I purchased this brake for a Diamond Back AR15 in anticipation for an OSS suppressor in ATF jail. I have never used a brake, always the A2 flash hider, and the QD brake definitely does keep muzzle rise to a minimum. Two shots on target in rapid succession were easy with the EOTECH. However, I was not ready for the amount of muzzle blast it generated and after shooting about a 1000 rounds through it in one day, I was coughing all night from inhaling the gasses. Since I am just waiting to mount the OSS suppressor to it, I don't think the back blast will be an issue in the future.
