The Bannar 556 1/2x28 is a stand-alone hybrid comp/brake/flash hider that drastically reduces recoil, controls the muzzle, and mitigates flash. The geometry of the ports redirects gasses away from the shooter and bystanders.
This is NOT a QD suppressor or blast deflector mount.
Muzzle device length is 2.3 and length added to barrel is 1.7 inches
Muzzle device weight is 2.3 oz

Solid addition to your firearm
Purchased this item recently. Affixed to a stock .223/5.56 using a 16" barrel and 55g fmj rounds. Noticeable reduction in perceived recoil, some reduction in muzzle rise, and effectively hid the flash. Close bystanders (outdoors) did not comment about muzzle blast/gas, or step away, like they would have if near a .308 with a muzzle brake. Not to mention the unique swirled appearance is pretty bad A**. Overall, I am satisfied and would recommend this product to others.

I placed this on a Tavor bulpup rifle. Due to the design with the weight at the rear, the barrel has more flip than expected. After installing this device, the muzzle flip was eliminated and the rifle has become a very fast, flat shooter.

Bannar 556 muzzle devise
Installed on lightweight 16" bbl carbine as replacement for a standard A2 flash hider. Made a significant difference in controllability in rapid engagement of multiple targets. Very pleased with purchase.
