This allows the CA$H 9k and RAD 9 and 45 to be mounted to a pistol with a tilting or reciprocating barrel. The Booster Assembly simply mounts to the back of your pistol suppressor and then can be threaded directly to your pistol barrel.

*The RAD 9 and 45 ship with a booster assembly.

**The CA$H 9k ships with a direct thread adapter and will require the Booster Assembly to be used with pistols with reciprocating barrels.

Tight fitting retainer cap and overall great quality

Posted by Charlie H on Sep 10th 2025

There aren't many OEMs that sell the Alpha piston retainer cap separately, but this booster kit was reasonably priced and was well made. I like the nitrided piston as it makes it easier/faster to clean. The wrench flats/hex on the end of the piston also allows the use of a wrench in case it gets stuck or needs extra tightening. The piston retaining cap fits tighter than Rugged, and is on-par with SiCo so there's less chance of a baffle/cap strike due to misalignment.

Comes out the package ready to go. Perfect fit and works great with any tilt barrel handgun.

The booster I got for my Cash 9 has functioned perfectly. And dealing with Huxwrx has been pleasant and efficient.

    M9a3 and Zev/Glock 19

Posted by Rob on Jan 24th 2024

Cash 9k worked on both pistols but excelled on the M9a3. Glock was good but felt the bounce of the booster spring significantly more; not terrible or anything, kinda fun actually but it made it a little more finnicky with subsonic loads.

    Easy to switch and Install

Real easy to install and exchange pistons. If maintained properly, you won't get carbon lock.
