The Flash Hider-QD 6 is designed to mitigate flash when unsuppressed.
Muzzle device length is 2.3 inches, length added to barrel is 1.7 inches (on barrels with 0.6" threads)
The Flash Hider-QD 6 is compatible with HX-QD series (6k, 762, 762 Ti and Magnum Ti) and FLOW series (6k and 762 Ti) suppressors. This flash hider is only compatible with VENTUM series suppressors when combined with the HUX HUB Adapter.
NOTE: Larger caliber mounts are NOT compatible with smaller caliber suppressors. Smaller caliber mounts ARE compatible with larger caliber suppressors.

Flash Hider - QD6 5/8/x 24
I prefer a flash hider over the muzzle brake because I don't like the concussion created by the muzzle brakes. Most of the time I have the suppressor on barrel but if I have to take a quick shot (pull the carbine from the gun case) at an unexpected game animal. I don't have time to install the suppressor or insert ear protection and the flash hider rings my ears less than a brake. I was glad to see HuxWrk come out with the 6.5 mm as I have both 6.5 Grendel and 6.5 Creedmoor Rifles. I like the design but very seldom shoot at night so I can't comment on how well this design kills the muzzle flash from experience.

Nice workmanship fits well. A bear to get off though! I wish there were other options to make my FLOW 7.62 Ti more interchangeable with other guns. And, the price makes it painful to buy more than one at a time; if they’re in stock.
